The foremost question on the minds of most up and coming bloggers is "Why should I submit my blog to directories?" Some bloggers will actually submit their blogs to dozens of directories or even more, while others feel that this wouldnt be of much use. What I have learned through extensive research and experience however, is that I get consistently good results when I submit my blog to a few different blog directories a short time after launching them.

There are many blog directories that have specific rules about posting backlinks. I tend to shy away from those blog directories, and instead I tried to submit my blog to blog directories that were a lot less rigid.
Most blog directories let you go through the submission process fairly quickly, while others may require a lot more time. I dont even bother with directories that overcomplicated the process, and opted to submit to those that made it easy for me to submit my blog.
